Philippa Meek-Smith

Philippa focuses her research on fundamentalist Mormon polygamy and how these polygamous marriages look in reality, compared to media representations of plural marriages within fundamentalist Mormon traditions. She has presented at national and international conferences, has published a number of articles and book contributions, and has participated in media engagement in the form of interviews and podcasts. She has won awards and bursaries for her writing, research, and conference presentations. Philippa is married to Richard, an officer in the Royal Navy; together they have a son named Aubrey.
