Recent research has been funded by organisations including the AHRC, GCRF, John Templeton Foundation, Templeton World Charity Foundation, British Academy, British Council, ERC, Leverhulme, MRC, Galileo Foundation, Marie Curie and the Sir Halley Stewart Trust
