About me:

My research explores the intersections of intergenerational justice and environmental rights in the context of climate change.

I am particularly interested in how questions of responsibility to future generations are framed across different cultural, ethical, and religious traditions, and how these frameworks can inform more inclusive and resilient climate policy.

Drawing on comparative ethics and climate justice scholarship, my work examines how Western secular approaches and Islamic mystical traditions conceptualise duties to the future. By foregrounding spiritual and moral dimensions of environmental responsibility, I aim to broaden climate justice discourses beyond Euro-American paradigms.

I am also deeply engaged in questions of environmental aesthetics, exploring how experiences of beauty, creativity, and encounter with the natural world shape belonging and cultivate collective action for the climate. My work considers how aesthetic engagement with landscapes, art, and community practices can open new pathways for environmental stewardship.
